Retirement village Sandford Station in North Somerset includes two specialist care homes. In total it houses more than 200 people, which makes heating the buildings in winter a key priority.
Since 2011 St Monica’s Trust – which operates the village – has trusted Forest Fuels to deliver woodchip for its biomass boiler whenever it needs it.

“It’s critically important for St Monica’s Trust to receive woodchip whenever they require it so that residents at Sandford Village always have a constant source of heat.
“Our job here at Forest Fuels is to ensure that not only does this happen but also that we provide the trust with a high level of service so that they can focus fully on looking after their residents.”
