Fuel Supply - Pellet

Forest Fuels supplies high quality 6mm pellets which meet the European Standard CEN/TS 14961. Manufactured in Southern England from 100% virgin timber, all of which is sourced from sustainably managed woodlands in Southern England. This means that the raw material is transported over a relatively short distance and so has low carbon impact.

Deliveries

We deliver direct from the manufacturing plant in Andover, which reduces the transport impacts associated with delivering to an interim depot, and also reduces the handling damage to the pellets. We believe that these pellets are the most sustainable currently available in the UK.

Deliveries of wood pellet can be made in a variety of ways:

• bagged pellets packed on a pallet
• the rechargeable pellet box
• 6 or 8 wheel bulk blowing delivery lorries with drivers specifically trained in the delivery of wood pellets
• tipping bulker lorry
• tipping or walking floor artic lorry

Supply Contracts

Forest Fuels offers supply contracts that guarantee quantities and qualities of wood pellet for fuel which are tailored to meet their customers’ needs. A long term contract provides the opportunity for planning and has the benefit of ensuring a secure supply at the most advantageous price. Typically supply options include:

• Long term (3-5 years) woodfuel supply contract
• ‘One off’ or emergency wood pellet supply can also be accommodated
• Pellet box contracts
• Fuel can be supplied by the kWh or tonne
