Forest Fuels Delivers to DIY SOS
The previously quiet residential street in Telford is turned into a hive of well organised but nonetheless highly energised activity as the last minute details of the big build are attended to.
This is the scene as the Forest Fuels team arrives.
Bob Osborne, Forest Fuels transport manager said, "When we arrived it was quite astonishing to see. There were vans and workers everywhere, I’ve never seen anything quite like it".
The road has been closed off to allow space and access for the many support vehicles, equipment and plant on site.
One of the near neighbours has kindly allowed rear access to the garden area through their bungalow’s garage and garden.
After gaining access the Forest Fuels team set about unloading the wood chip, bagged for ease of handling.
The team on site ready to put the finishing touches to the purpose built garden area in readiness for Matthew’s return home.
The project is transforming the home of Matthew and his parents Leigh and Sue Cooper after Matthew suffered brain and spinal cancer and had to spend a long time in Birmingham Children’s Hospital for treatment.
BBC DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles took a short break from the build and is pictured here with Forest Fuels Transport Manager, Bob Osborne (Left) and Marketing and Communications Manager Dave Myatt (centre)
